Netmeds' homepage focuses on ordering medicines and a wide range of wellness, Ayurveda, homeopathy, mother-and-baby and device categories, plus lab tests. Doctor consultations and prescription upload were not visible on the homepage when we checked.

Apollo 24|7 offers medicines, online doctor consultations by chat, call or video, lab tests with home sample collection, a digital health records vault and the Apollo Circle membership. Suits people who want consultations and records closely tied to pharmacy orders.
AV Pharma
AV Pharma, which publishes this guide, combines medicine ordering, doctor search by specialty (online or in-clinic consultations, requested through the site), lab tests and health packages, nearby clinics and hospitals, health records and reminders in one account, with an Android app. Prescriptions are reviewed before confirmation. It is smaller and newer than the others, delivery depends on your PIN code, and it has no iOS app listed. It also has a provider side where doctors, pharmacies, clinics and labs can register.
Safety checks for any online pharmacy
- The platform asks for a valid prescription for prescription-only medicines.
- Seller or pharmacy details and a licence number appear on the invoice or website.
- Contact details, a grievance officer and a returns policy are published.
- Packs arrive sealed with batch number and expiry date visible; check them on delivery.
